Deleting your data

This page covers the two kinds of data PolyMerge keeps and how to remove each one, step by step.

This is everything we store

There are no accounts. We never ask for your email address, phone number or real name.

Progress on your device

Your score, level, badges, coins, unlocked visual identities, settings and any game in progress live only in your phone's own storage. None of it is sent to us, and we hold no copy of it.

Your leaderboard record

When you submit a score to the leaderboard it is written to both the weekly and the All Time table, and four things are stored: an anonymous identifier (a Firebase anonymous UID), the display name you chose in-game, your avatar emoji and your score. That identifier is not linked to any personal information.

    Step 1: Delete the data on your device

    Removing PolyMerge from your phone deletes all local progress with it. This cannot be undone: reinstall the game and your scores, badges and coins start from zero.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2: Have your leaderboard record deleted

    Your leaderboard record sits on our side, so we delete it for you. Email support@jogagames.io with the display name you use on the leaderboard and the week you submitted your score, so we can find the entry.

    Uninstall the app first and you can no longer read your display name. Note it down before you delete anything.

Put these in your email

  • •Your request: “Please delete my leaderboard record”
  • •An email address we can reply to (used only to answer this request, then deleted)

How long it takes and what goes

Once your request reaches us we delete the record within 30 days and write back to confirm.

  • Deleted: Your entry in the weekly and all-time tables (the anonymous identifier, your display name, your avatar emoji and your score). You drop out of the rankings entirely.
  • Cannot be pulled out one by one: Usage and crash records are tied to an installation-level identifier, not to your name (see the Privacy Policy). They are deleted or anonymised when their retention period ends, and uninstalling the app removes the identifier from your device.
  • We can't delete it because we never had it: The progress on your device. Only you can remove that, by uninstalling the game.
